 HOA Meeting

Your next CCVCA HOA meeting will be Thursday January 5th, 2012 starting at 6:30pm to 7:15pm in the Clubhouse behind the pool. All CCVCA residents are encouraged to attend.

Meet and talk with your CCVCA Board of Directors and Todd Miller from Beacon Residential Management. Make suggestions. Ask questions. Get Involved. After all, this is your community !

HOA Dues are Due !

The HOA Board is very understanding of circumstances that may hinder or prevent prompt payment of dues. We are also very flexible and will accommodate payment plans if you are behind. Unfortunately, if the homeowner ignores their responsibility and fails to contact the board we are forced to take legal action. When the attorney gets involved, legal fees can often quickly add thousands to a delinquent account. If your account is delinquent, or feel you can't pay your dues, the Board of Directors strongly urges you to contact the Association manager, Todd Miller, immediately to set up a payment plan. You can email the request to: tmiller@beaconrm.com or call 713-466-1204.

 

Free Tree Trimming and removal

Now is the time to trim trees around power lines. Center Point Energy will do it for free. You just need to report the tree, call CenterPoint Energy at 713-207-2222 or 800-332-7143 to request tree trimming. Lets get the dead trees out of our power lines before a storm comes and knocks out the power. Trimming the tree may save you from losing power during the next storm. The drought has killed a lot of trees making trees that were once not a problem a power loss risk now. So please call and get your trees trimmed.

Come Join CCV Preppers 

A new organization in Colony Creek is forming and you are cordially invited to attend. You may be thinking, what in the world is a prepper?  A prepper is someone who is self-reliant. Someone who hopes for the best, but is prepared for the absolute worst situation. Someone who is uncomfortable depending on others for basic life needs and protection. In other words, normal people who plan ahead. We believe in taking care of family and helping others whenever possible.          

The purpose of these monthly meetings is to meet other like-minded people in our neighborhood who share a common goal. To share knowledge with each other and learn from others that have skills we may not. To determine how we can best help our neighbors and community.   

Who should attend?  Anyone who wants to prepare and/or has skills in First Aid, Gardening, Alternate Cooking Methods, Alternative Power, CERT, Food Storage, Canning Food, Growing Sprouts, Dehydrating Food, Communications (amateur radio), Security, Water Storage & Filtration, and much much more. 

When and where?  Every third Thursday of the month in the clubhouse behind the pool from 7:00 to 8:30PM.  I hope to see you there.

All residences were mailed a notice from Louetta North PUD about converting from chlorine to chloramine disinfection system for the District water on March 14th.

Colony Creek Village has now added

to the clubhouse and surrounding area. You can now bring your laptop or other device to the park, pool area or inside the clubhouse during your event. Hours of wireless operation are 9:00am to 10:00pm daily. To access, from your wireless software, look for Colony Creek Clubhouse and enter the password clubhouse ( note: all lower case ). There is no charge for this service.

DRY RETENTION POND to FAMILY PARK

is completed. Please stop by and use your new "award winning" park. It's at the end of Colony Creek Drive at Colony Cove. It's designed to be family friendly with a meandering path with foot bridge. Landscaping with shrubs, trees and flowers have been installed. As time permits the funds to accrue there will be additions of benches and light exercise ( stretching ) apparatus scattered through out the park. Thanks to the CCVCA Board of Directors for the many, many hours devoted to make this project happen.

Don't drive on our streets any faster then you would want us to drive on yours !!!!!!!!

It's important for our residents to take action if you see something that isn't right.  If you see an emergency call 911, or a non emergency call 713-221-6000. Please call these numbers first before you call one of the board members or type to the chatter group. 

It is illegal to park a commercial vehicle over 1 ton in our community between the hours of 10pm and 6am.

Attend the monthly Homeowner’s Association Meetings held the first Thursday of each month ( except December ) at 6:30 pm in the clubhouse.
